We love woodwind players! Students start as early as age 6 on Flute, with oboe, clarinet, and saxophone at age 9 with instructors who will nurture their love of music. We help students prepare for their first band experience in school. Our summer lessons help student shine through the summer so they are ready for auditions in the fall. Whether preparing for an audition with the Youth Symphony or for College, we can help!
Your student will love meeting other flute players as part of the Fantastia Flute choir. This group gathers in the winter to prepare a selection for our Winter Ensemble concert. He or she will feel included and cared for as we work on a flute choir piece with parts for all levels of study. We know that confidence grows when students have opportunities to perform, and that's especially true in a group setting where everyone feels like they belong.
We offer woodwind lessons for students and adults with 30, 45, or 60 minute weekly lessons. We recommend students start flute after the age of 6 years and reed instruments at 9 years after completing Kindermusik for the Young Child.
