Piano Lessons for kids are an excellent way to foster creativity and music talent. At our studio, piano is the most popular instrumental lesson with lesson options Monday through Saturdays. From beginners as young as 6 years of age to more advanced students, we offer comprehensive music classes for kids that include components such as note-reading, ear training, theory, technique, improvisation and a variety of genres. We believe in creating a personalized learning experience for kids music lessons, taking into account the student’s musical interests and preferences. Piano Lessons incorporate a variety of components to create a unique and enjoyable learning experience week after week that feels fresh and motivating.

Is  your child not yet 6? Try out our Kindermusik Level 5 program where we teach children to read and write music. Our Kindermusik Level 4 program for ages 4-5 years includes a keyboard activity as part of every class.

 

Looking for something more social for younger learners? Consider our group piano classes for ages 6-8 years.

 

What to Expect.

As a parent, you will receive regular communication from the teacher about the student’s progress, what to practice, as well as tips for how you can support your student’s learning. Our digital practice planner, Practice Space, is one of our main tools for communication, along with our Friday newsletter and the Event page on our website. New to music lessons? Our blog includes useful resources for parents on how to establish practice routines, tips for overcoming recital nerves, and details on how to get started with Practice Space.

 

At Kathys’ Music, we strive to develop well-rounded musicians and see our students’ confidence soar as they make progress and perform selections they love. Our annual performance opportunities for piano lesson students include fall and spring recitals, spring music festival, and a casual coffee house performance just for High School students.
